That was the call from Daniel Birch, Freestyle's creative director, at the recent Plus International Design Expo in Birmingham.
Daniel showed how a few guiding principles are beginning to emerge in the digital design industry, and how we need to bring back the love, despite the pressures the industry is under.
The digital space is hard work for a designer. With so many variables to consider, and crossover in all disciplines, you're supposed to be a master of everything, but will still be measured by the creation of a perfect aesthetic... Digital as an industry is arguably only just starting to grow up... [but] a few guiding principles are beginning to emerge that may reduce the pressure and bring back the love.
Daniel made his call during a panel debate at the International Design Event where alongside fellow panellists Ellie Runcie, from the Design Council and Frank Peter's Chief Executive, Chartered Society of Designers.
