Freestyle's Daniel Birch invited to help 'mess-up' BIMA awards as new committee comes together to revitalise annual Awards
Paul Walsh, the chairman of the leading digital communications trade body, The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) has invited Freestyle Creative Director to take up a seat on the BIMA Awards Committee.
Says Daniel: It's great to be sitting on this panel. The BIMA awards are longstanding and coveted, but it's now time to mess-up the formula a little bit, re-energise them and realign the categories - the result will show more ambition and hopefully a new look for the BIMAs.The categories therefore are planned to be wider and more general to allow a greater variety of submissions and all areas of our industry to enter. Therefore recognising the unsung heroes, as well as the traditional creative roles.
Daniel joins a variety of senior roles, from both Agency (Conchango and Digitas) and respected brands like Adobe and BskyB to help shape the awards this year.
