City & Guilds have over 1.8 million learners and alumni. Part of their 5 year plan involves creating the City & Guilds Academy; an online tool that will help them get closer to their learners and become a professional ally in their career development.
There's a lot you can do in digital – knowing what you should do is the trick.
The fully developed creative concept that we provided City & Guilds was based on the sound knowledge and understanding of the City & Guilds brand and user base that we developed through the Scope and Define stages of our methodology.
Observing how City & Guilds' users interact with existing successful online communities and producing a scored approach to features and functions allowed us to demonstrate to City & Guilds the best way to focus their resources in order to engage with their learners and strengthen links with their alumni.
As a direct result of the success of this project, Freestyle were invited to pitch to become City & Guilds' retained digital agency. Our pitch was successful and we have been awarded a three year retainer to help City & Guilds develop a digital approach within their 5 year marketing plan.
