Objectives

Lombard's goal was to replace their existing website with a site that was superior to that of any other asset finance business; a user-focused site that would attract prospective clients, cross-sell to existing clients, and retain business with wavering ones.

Solution

Working with Lombard and their stakeholders to identify the challenges, we defined a brief that would take their website back to basics and work from scratch to rebuild their online presence.

We started right from the beginning, creating a route map to take them through workshops, individual interviews, customer research and in-depth site analysis. Looking at the business in-depth we produced customer journeys, user personas and brand & content audits, amalgamating the differing business needs into one overarching solution.

The team at Lombard were initially surprised when they saw the complexities of the project and requirements but as it evolved it was enjoyable to see how they grew to recognise the opportunities and relevance of carrying out the work as we took them on their journey.

Results

We provided Lombard with an insight into the complexities of creating a comprehensive web strategy as well as a consultancy piece that they could pass to one of their roster agencies for onward design and development.

Our consultancy has given them a foundation for all future web activity based on their current business model, which when implemented will give them a measurable return on investment, genuine differentiation and a number of benefits to the end user.
