Objectives

Building on our experience implementing similar systems for Land Rover and Jaguar, the Volvo marketing team in Sweden worked closely with us to tailor our customisable Digital Asset Management system, Partners, to their specific requirements for managing their marketing materials (photography, video, brand materials and guidelines) across their global business partners.

Solution

Based around a secure extranet, Partners allows Volvo to share marketing materials, guidelines and updates with their network of business partners, through a centrally controlled system that protects their brand consistency.

Partners allows Volvo to give agencies, internal employees and dealerships download and offline access to the specific sets of digital marketing materials and toolkits they need to build a successful marketing campaign, with the assistance of our full-time site support team and the back up of our technical experts.

Offering more than an off-the-shelf asset management system, the system also provides a range of tools to support the asset creation process including project management software and brochure production tools which support the development and management of campaigns and vehicle launches online.

Results

Since launching the system in early 2006 Volvo have significantly reduced duplication of marketing effort across their network and increased their efficiency in terms of speed to market and shared knowledge and experience. As part of the ongoing project we are constantly adding to and improving the system.

Our Site Support team has developed a close working relationship with Partners users and feedback from the most recent quarterly review confirms that the system is now an integral part of the Volvo network.
